Sterling Davis, Leigh D’Angelo, and Nathan Kehn have developed a dating app that targets the 17 million single cat owners in the United States. After successfully launching Dig, a dating app for dog lovers, Leigh learned that there is significant cat-shaming that happens among the dating community. Studies have shown that men who have cats perform worse on dating apps. Because cat lovers don’t have the equivalent of dog parks to meet other cat lovers, the trio has launched Tabby to help single cat owners to find each other. Tabby also offers a community to allow users to post about cat-centric events, fundraising, and meetups at locations such as cat cafes.

Hoping to partner with a Shark that can help them with marketing and distribution, Leigh, Sterling, and Nathan are seeking an investment partner willing to put $300,000 into Tabby in exchange for 20% equity. As they have recently had to launch on a new platform, they are quickly pivoting and also need help building out their new app. The trio is hoping to partner with a Shark that will be able to help them expand and grow their business. They currently have 31,000 users and have brought in over $43,000 in revenue, however, they know the market is much larger than what they have been able to reach so far.
